Repair Costs

Due to the fact that we do not have to maintain expensive shop and workshop premises we are able to carry out quality repairs at very reasonable cost.

Our Charges as from April 2009 are...

Free standing Washing Machines - Dishwashers - Tumble Dryers...

£44.00 - this is made up of a
£20.00  call out fee to send a field service technician to your home, diagnose the problem with your machine, and provide an estimate as to the total cost of repair.

Should you wish for the repair to proceed,

then there will be a further labour charge of £24.00. This will cover up to an hours labour which covers most repairs needed.
(Spare parts if required are charged extra)

Major work that involves drum removal

Major work that that involves over an hour will be charged at a further £10 per additional hour, but the total cost will be estimated and advised before work commences.

Built in (Integrated Appliances)...

These are more likely to take over an hour in labour due to the difficulties often experienced when removing and re-installing appliances.

(If the built in appliance has been removed prior to our visit, then a lot of time can be saved and your costs kept to a minimum.)

If the appliance turns out to be B.E.R.
(beyond economical repair)

or you only require us to diagnose the fault,
then we will only charge the £20.00 call out fee.

Why do we not provide 'free call out's'?

If we did not charge for the business expenses incurred when sending a field service technician out (travel costs, business running costs, wages etc.) then these costs would have to subsidised by the customers who actually go ahead and have the work done!.

Companies who advertise ‘NO CALL OUT CHARGE’ are more likely going to be much more expensive when they actually proceed with the work because of this, also some companies then go on to charge for their labour instead!.

We carry out all work in your own home
with a large percentage of repairs completed on the spot.

You can rest assured that you are in safe hands when using our services as we operate in accordance with the UK Whitegoods Charter - which defines the standards by which we work, and also we are on the Trading Standards list of recomended traders .
